Even a winding path is guided by God.
Working for Good
Bibliva Daily Devotion — 02/09/2026
“We know that all things work together for good for those who love God, to those who are called according to his purpose.”
Understanding today’s Scripture
Working for Good
Notice the posture this promise calls for: loving God and aligning with His purpose. That alignment happens as we keep showing up—praying when we feel dry, obeying when it is costly, choosing integrity when shortcuts tempt us, serving when no one notices. Often, we see the pattern only in hindsight. But faith learns to trust the Artist before the picture is clear.
If you are waiting today, remember that divine timing is not divine absence. God’s purposes are not fragile, and His providence is not passive. He is actively working in what you can’t control, redeeming what you can’t repair, and strengthening what you can’t yet see.
A simple practice for this week:
- Pray: Name the situation you can’t fix and place it in God’s hands.
- Partner: Ask, “What faithful step can I take today?” and do that one thing.
- Praise: Thank God for one small evidence of His care, even if it is just the strength to try again.
As you walk this path, let hope steady your heart: the God who called you is the God who completes what He begins.
Pause and reflect
Where is God inviting me to trust Him with an unfinished or painful place in my life, and what is one faithful step I can take today?
Hold on to this truth
Let us pray
“being confident of this very thing, that he who began a good work in you will complete it until the day of Jesus Christ.”
Philippians 1:6Walk in Assurance
Step into today with quiet confidence. God is present in the details, powerful in the delays, and purposeful in every detour. Keep loving Him. Keep taking the next faithful step.
